Boston Red Sox logos
The Boston Red Sox are a baseball team based in Boston. The team was founded in 1901 and the name “Red Sox” was chosen by the team’s owner, John I. Taylor, around the year 1908. The Red Sox have won a total of nine World Series championships. The Boston Red Sox logo is fairly simple. It’s a pair of red and white socks. The team’s logo has undergone a couple of changes throughout the years, but it always kept the same color scheme, with one exception. The 1901 logo (before the name Red Sox was chosen) was an arched “Boston” with blue letters on a white background. The other notable change happened in 1909 and it lasted until 1924, when they decided not to include the sock that was present in their second logo. Other than that the Boston Red Sox logo featured a pair of red socks for almost 100 years.
