Detroit Tigers logos

The Detroit Tigers were established in 1894 and since 1901 have won four World Series Championships in 1935, 1945, 1968 and 1984. The Tigers constructed Bennett Park, a ballpark named after Charlie Bennet. Their best performance was in 1934, where they had a win percentage of .656, and their worst performage was in 2003 with a win percentage of .265. The Detroit Tigers logo featured a tiger as the centerpiece for almost half a century, but as of 2006 they decided to get rid of it. The most recent iteration of the Tigers logo features a gothic style D in a dark shade of blue. The letter has pointed and slightly curved lines, giving it a playful and elegant look.
