Renzo Rosso an Italian entrepreneur bought a company named “Moltex” and rebranded it as “Diesel”, giving birth to a world-class denim line in 1978. Today’s incarnation of the Diesel logo consists only of the word “DIESEL” enclosed in a rectangle frame. The word’s typeface is based on Sans-Serif font and has few modifications done to the regular typeface.
