Houston Astros logos

The Houston Astros were established in 1962 and were initially known as the Houston Colt .45s from 1962 to 1964. In 1980 they managed to make the playoffs for the first time and in 2005 they made their first appearance in the World Series. 12 years later they managed to win their first World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The Houston Astros logo has gone through a series of changes throughout the years. Their first logo was quite complex, featuring the Astrodome stadium being orbited by four baseballs with the team’s name under the same stadium. Their later logos would be less complex, but they remained stylish. The current Houston Astros logo features the letter “H” with an orange star as its background, encircled by the full name of the team.
