Kansas City Royals logos

The Kansas City Royals, also known as “The Blue Crew”, the “Boys in Blue”, and “The Crowns”, are a baseball team based in Kansas City. Their name pays homage to the American Royal. The Royals managed to win two World Series championships, one in 1985 and the other one in 2015. The Kansas City Royals logo has remained fairly consistent throughout the years. The 1969 logo featured a crowned shield with the team’s initials inside it, and the wordmark “Royals” under the same shield. This theme has remained consistent from 1969 to 1986, with most changes being done to the colour palette and the font. In 2002 they removed the letter “R” from inside the shield, and in 2019 they removed the wordmark as well. The current Kansas City Royals logo makes the shield the centerpiece. The logo’s color palette is made out of gold, blue and white.
