San Diego Padres logos

The San Diego Padres are a professional baseball team based in San Diego. They were established in 1969 and are one of the two major teams from California (the other one being the Los Angeles Angels). As of 2021 they have managed to win 2 NL Pennants, but they have no World Series titles under their name. The San Diego Padres logo has gone through several changes throughout the years. The original 1969 logo depicted a funny looking monk playing baseball inside a yellow ring, with the words “San Diego Padres” arched under the emblem. Their 1986 logo had a more simple and elegant approach to the logo. That logo simply read “Padres” in a bold, elegant, and stylish typeface. The current San Diego Padres logo is a simple monogram that reads “SD”, the “D” sitting under and to the right of the “S”, they also changed the color combination to feature a chocolate brown and white.
