Seattle Mariners logos
The Seattle Mariners were established in 1977 in Seattle. The team’s name originates from Seattle’s marine culture and are also nicknamed “The M’s”. The organisation managed to win their first division championship in 1995 when they defeated the New York Yankees in the American League Division Series. The Seattle Mariners logo has always been based on the “sea” theme. Their first logo featured a dark blue trident as the letter “M” in “Mariners”, and the whole logo was made out of words “Seattle Mariners Baseball Club” placed inside a yellow circle with a dark blue outline. The current Seattle Mariners logo introduced a new color scheme and a totally different design. The new logo is a compass with a white baseball in the middle. Inside the compass you can find the name of the team written in white, on a dark blue background.
