Texas Rangers logos

The Texas Rangers were established in 1961 as the “Washington Senators”, but they moved to Arlington in 1972, that being the same year the team got its current name. The Rangers have made eight appearances in the MLB postseason and have won 2 AL Pennants in 2010 and 2011. The Texas Rangers logo has gone through several completely different styles before landing on the logo they use today. The first logo under their new name was a rather funny looking baseball wearing a cowboy hat. The linework of the baseball and hat were done in blue, and the text “Texas Rangers” was placed over it. The current Texas Rangers logo features a blue rhombus with grey stripes and outline in which you can find a white five-pointed star enclosed in a thick red frame. The inscription “Texas Rangers Baseball Club” was placed around the red frame.
